SANSKRIT DAY REPORT

Title: “Subodh Sanskritam” An event on the occasion of Sanskrit Day.

Date: 23/08/2021 Venue : Assembly hall, third floor, College building.

Preamble: The department of Sanskrit Samhita and Siddhant has been organized SUBODH SANSKRITAM,Sanskrit day celebration on account of world Sanskrit day It is celebrated on the poornima day of shraavan month in the Hindu calander . The motive behind the celebration of the Sanskrit day was to promote the use of Sanskrit language, its revival and maintenance.

Essay writing competition

2. भित्तीपत्रक निर्माणम् प्रतियोगीता

(poster making competition)

3. प्रश्नमंजूषा (Quiz competition)

Participants Profile: Total 180 teachers and students were present for the program.

The event started with welcome speech. The whole event was compered by students.

Honorable chief guest, The secretory of the trust and the director of college Dr.Omprakash Dube Sir; the Trustee and HOD of Stree rog and prasuti tantra Department Dr. Rujuta Dube Madam, The Principal of the Institution Dr. Hemalata Shende Madam participated in Lamp lighting and Dhanvantari poojan.

Dr. Omprakash Dube Sir, the secretory of the trust and the director of college delivered a wonderful speech.

Dr. Jyoti Rathi, HOD & Associated professor at Sanskrit Samhita & Siddhant department, delivered a lecture on Importance of Sanskrit day & Sanskrit language.

The students of different years celebrated Sanskrit day by performing magnificent dance, songs and various programs enlisted above.

The winners of various competitions were announced.

Dr. Shubhangi Patil, Assistant professor at Sanskrit Samhita & Siddhant department, proposed vote of thanks.

At the end of the program everyone took part in Sanskrit Pratidyna .

The program concluded with delicious mouth watering snacks & refreshing tea.
