Renowned specialist in Streerog Prasutitantra (Gynaec and Obstetrics) and Trustee of Nallasopara Ayurveda Medical College and Hospital Honorable Professor Dr. Rujuta Omprakash Dube residing at Nalasopara in Vasai Taluka Palghar District has been elected unopposed as General Secretary (Secretary) of "Maharashtra Ayurveda Mahasamelan".

Professor Doctor Mrs. Rujuta Omprakash Dube has over 33 years of experience in the medical profession and has been involved in providing medical education for over thirty years.

115 years ago i.e. in the year 1907, respected late Dr. Shri Shankar Daji Shastri Pade, a great physician of Maharashtra, founded the organization "Akhil Bharatiya Ayurveda Mahasammelan" with the aim of promoting indigenous science of over land and fighting against the British empire. One of the most important state branches of this organization is the 'Maharashtra Ayurveda Mahasammelan', whose secretary, Honorable Professor Dr. Rujuta Omprakash Dube, was elected unopposed. This election will further promote Ayurveda, provide guidance to new physicians, and promote various activities in the field of Ayurveda useful to the general public.

After the said selection, in the meeting of "Association of Management of Ayurveda Medical Colleges of Maharashtra" held on 16/10/ 2022 at Saptshringi Ayurveda College Nashik, a resolution of congratulation was unanimously passed regarding the election of Professor Dr. Mrs. Rujuta Omprakash Dube as Secretary.
