Before conducting the admission process, the college has to cross 3 barriers

  1. Recommendation of Central Council of Indian Medical (CCIM)
  2. Permission of Govt. of India, Ministry of AYUSH, New Delhi.
  3. Affiliation of Maharashtra University of Health Sciences (MUHS)

Every year Central Council of Indian Medicine (CCIM) visits the college and after thorough inspection recommends to the Ministry of AYUSH, Gov. of India, as to whether permission to the college is to be granted or not for that particular academic year.
After going through the recommendations of Central Council Indian Medicine and scrutinizing it thoroughly, the Govt. of India, Ministry of AYUSH grants permission to the college for admitting students for that particular academic year.

Taking cognizance of the impressive track record of our institute and the excellent facilities available at our institute, the Govt. of India through Ministry of AYUSH in the year 2014-2015 after considering the recommendations of Central Council of Indian Medicine (CCIM) granted permission in a single stoke for five consecutive academic years i.e. till academic year 2018-2019. As further endorsement of our institute’s high standards, the said department increased the intake capacity of our institute from 50 students to 60 students from the year 2015-2016 onwards.

During the pendency of Central Govt. of AYUSH Dept. Permission Process the Maharashtra University of Health Sciences (MUHS) also conducts inspection of the college every year and after thorough scrutiny and inspection the Maharashtra University of Health Sciences (MUHS) grants affiliation to the college for that particular academic year.

The Govt. of India through Ministry of AYUSH granted permission to our college for 5 consecutive academic years on date 24/9/2014 and for increasing intake capacity from 50 to 60 students on date 1/10/2015 and the Maharashtra University of Health Sciences (MUHS) granted affiliation to the college for the academic year 2015-16 on date 21/7/2015. And also granted affiliation to the increased intake capacity of 50 to 60 students on date 28/10/2015.

Admission Eligibility

The candidate may be an Indian National / NRI / Foreign National. The candidate is required to produce proof in support of his/her Nationality from a District Magistrate, Additional Magistrate or Metropolitan Magistrate, School Leaving certificate of HSC / 12th Std indicating the nationality of the candidate as Indian or Valid Passport also shall be considered as sufficient proof of Nationality.
For admissions to BAMS candidate must be born on or before 1st October 1998. The Secondary School Certificate (i.e. SSC) or equivalent examination certificate endorsing the date of birth will constitute the valid proof.

The candidate must be medically fit and must submit a certificate of medical fitness.

A candidate belonging to open category must have obtained not less than 50% Marks in Physics, Chemistry and Biology subject taken together at the XII Std/ HSC (or Equivalent) Examination.
A candidates belonging to Reserved Category must have obtained not less than 40% Marks Physics, Chemistry and Biology subject taken together at the HSC (or Equivalent) Examination.

If a candidate is eligible as per the above mentioned criteria, he is also required to appear for Common Entrance Test, the exam conducted by Association of Management of Private Unaided Medical and Dental Colleges Maharashtra i.e. AMUPMDC. The said exam is known as AMUPMDC – 2016 / Asso - CET- 2016.-

The competent authority (AMUPMDC) accepts / invites the online application forms for Entrance Exam during the month of March/April and the examination is being conducted in the month of May every year. The said authority allows the candidates to fill up the preference forms and then considering the marks obtained by the candidates and preference given by him/her, displays the merit lists of the admitted students on the website of AMUPMDC and accordingly admitted candidates has to report to the relevant college within the stipulated period and get the admission process completed at the college.

The college has to submit the list of admitted students to Pravesh Niyantran Samiti and AYUSH Sanchalanalaya Maharashtra State and get the students approved by them.
